11th Get Going Clubs provides funding to support not-for-profit local sport and recreation organisations to create and provide access to participation opportunities for Queenslanders

15th Environmental Conservation of the Community Sustainability Action grants Funding will be provided for projects that undertake on-ground activities to rehabilitate degraded landscapes, protect and improve habitat and biodiversity and improve the climate resilience of natural environments. Grants of up to $50,000 (ex GST) are available for projects

25th  EMF Queensland Research Program Grant Round 28 opens 26 June 2017 – The Emergency Medicine Foundation (EMF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to funding innovative evidence-based research that improves clinical practices to save lives as well as delivering significant economic benefits to the healthcare system

28th Knowledge Transfer Partnerships program Builds collaboration between universities and small business by bringing on a university graduate to work on an innovative project

31st Gambling Community Benefit Fund Not-for-profit groups operating in Queensland can apply for grants from $500 to $35 000 through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF). This fund is Queensland’s largest one-off grants program, distributing approximately $53 million per year to Queensland communities

31st Engaging Science Grants Supports science engagement and communication projects, events and activities that increase the reach and impact of science in Queensland

31st 2017 Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities a grant program initiated by the Monsanto Fund, in partnership with FRRR. It aims to help support local communities in 14 Cotton Grower Association areas in New South Wales and Queensland

1st Queensland Hackerspaces Grant program are supporting ‘hackerspaces’—informal places where people meet to share their interest in technology, tinker with tools, work on individual or shared projects, and learn from one another—through the Queensland Hackerspaces Grant program

1st The Smith Family – Care2Achieve Scholarship for Young Women Leaving Care, program goes a long way to make that possible for women aged 17 to 21 years, as they transition from care

14th Skilling Queenslanders for Work Funding is available to provide direct assistance to those Queenslanders that need support to gain the qualifications and skills needed to enter and stay in the workforce. Community-based not-for-profit organisations ca​​n apply for funding to start projects in local communities across Queensland. Local councils and school Parents and Citizens’ and Parents and Friends’ associations are also able to apply for funding under some programs

15th Spirit of Service grants are accessible all year round with multiple announcement dates. Grants are available up to $20,000 for smaller Anzac Centenary projects and events

31st Youth Boost Payment  The Youth Boost payment is available to eligible employers who hire an unemployed young person (aged 15-24) between 1 December 2016 and 31 October 2017 (inclusive). If you employed an eligible young jobseeker after the 28th February 2017, prior to announcement of the initiative’s extension on 2 March 2017, you may still apply for a Youth Boost payment
