Continuing on beyond the 30th June Appliance replacement offer is offering discounts on new energy efficient fridges and TVs so you can replace your old inefficient models. New appliances can cut your energy bills, improve your household and family living costs and help protect our environment – the NSW Government’s HEA Appliance program will continue past 30 June 2017 while the government considers the future of the Home Energy Action program.

27th Country Arts Support Program (CASP) – Grants of up to either $3,000 or $5000 (depending on region) are available primarily for professional artists’ fees, travel and accommodation

30th Writing NSW Writer & Scientist Grant is awarded by the NSW Writers’ Centre to foster connections between writing and the STEM sector (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). The grant supports a NSW based writer and scientist or technologist wishing to work together on a joint writing-related project that helps to foster a vibrant, diverse and innovative writing culture in NSW

30th Writing NSW Early Career Writer Grants are awarded by the NSW Writers’ Centre to assist early career creative writers in any genre who are resident in NSW. The aim of the grants is to foster a vibrant, diverse and innovative writing culture in the state

30th Writing NSW Emerging Writing Organisation Grants are awarded by the NSW Writers’ Centre to support emerging writing organisations, groups and collectives across the state. The aim of the grants is to foster a vibrant, diverse and innovative writing culture in NSW

31st Regional Jobs and Investment Packages – NSW North Coast region The program’s intended outcomes are to drive economic growth and create jobs by investing in projects that will: diversify regional economies, stimulate long-term growth, deliver sustainable employment, enable applicants to enter new markets and sectors

1st University of Wollongong – 2017 Community Engagement Grants Scheme provides funding to UOW staff and students for educational, research or outreach projects that partner with Community organisation and groups

4th Water Safety Fund Community Grants 2016/17 are being offered to support community efforts to improve water safety in NSW

4th Dubbo Regional Council’s Financial Assistance Program invites eligible community organisations to take advantage of its Financial Assistance Program and apply for a share in $15,000

7th The NSW Artist with Disability Fellowship is offered by the State Government to enable a professional NSW artist with disability to undertake a self-directed program of professional development

9th 2017 Community Building Partnership is seeking funding applications for community infrastructure projects that: promote community participation, inclusion and cohesion, deliver positive social, environmental, and recreational outcomes

10th Organics Infrastructure Fund provides $57 million over nine years to fund infrastructure and equipment to reduce food and garden organics waste going to landfill

11th Caring for Ageing Rural Australians (CARA) is a targeted grant program, designed to support projects and activities that benefit and support older people living in small rural and remote communities (Gilgandra and Warren Shires, NSW)

18th 2017 $10 Million Start Strong Capital Works Grants – funding is designed to create up to 700 new preschool places, with priority given to outer regional, remote and very remote, and Aboriginal communities. Approved Providers operating not for profit community-based preschools and mobile preschools are encouraged to apply

18th Sing Your Age is a project, offering grants to support the creation of new singing groups for older people, or the inclusion of older people in existing singing groups throughout NSW

20th Round 2 NSW Boating Now program Transport for NSW are now seeking applications from local government, other authorities, community groups and boating stakeholders – for funding assistance to deliver recreational boating infrastructure projects across the state

21st Infrastructure Grants Liquor & Gaming NSW offers grants to communities across NSW to support the building, renovation and fitout of infrastructure. Funding is available for sport and recreation, arts and cultural infrastructure, and projects that enhance facilities used to shelter communities and provide emergency services

31st 2017 Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities a grant program initiated by the Monsanto Fund, in partnership with FRRR. It aims to help support local communities in 14 Cotton Grower Association areas in New South Wales and Queensland

31st Aboriginal Community Grants Program 2017-2018 Northern Tablelands Local Land Services encourages Aboriginal people, groups and organisations to apply for Aboriginal Community Grants funding, made available through the Australian Government’s National Landcare Programme

4th The Protecting Our Places Program is a contestable grants program for Aboriginal community groups and organisations, seeking to achieve long-term beneficial outcomes for the NSW environment

4th The Regional Cultural Fund has been established by the NSW Government to ensure regional NSW receives its fair share of arts and cultural infrastructure and the associated recreational and educational benefits.

6th The Audience Development Fund (ADF) offers public galleries in NSW assistance in targeting and developing new audiences. It encourages galleries to create innovative public programs that engage artists and the community. The fund is designed to support galleries to develop and trial new models for engaging audiences that will increase immediate and future attendance, access and participation

15th Essential Energy’s Community Support Program aims to give back to the local halls that make up the social fabric of regional, rural and remote NSW and provide a valuable venue for the provision of localised services for their surrounding areas

19th Northern Rivers Community Foundation Grants The Grants Round opens on August 22nd and closes September 19th. Program guidelines and the application form will be available for download from their website from August 22nd

30th CWA Education Grants CWA of NSW offers a variety of Education Grants to students from NSW. NOTE: Applications for CWA Education Grants will be considered at the November Executive Meeting each year and must be received at Head Office from branches no later than 30th September. This means you have to give the local branch time to get your application to head office by the due date
