Mental Health in Multicultural Australia closing 16 August 2017
The Australian Government has committed up to $3.9million (GST exclusive) over three years for the Mental Health in Multicultural Australia (MHiMA) Project – Grant Opportunity, commencing in September 2017.
The funding will be provided for the period September 2017 to 30 June 2020.
The purpose of MHiMA funding is to facilitate a national focus on mental health and suicide prevention for people from CALD backgrounds.
The objectives of MHiMA are to build on the current project’s strength in capacity building through further development and implementation of the Framework for Mental Health in Multicultural Australia.
This is a targeted competitive grant opportunity available to a small number of applicants.
To be eligible to apply you must have been invited by the Department of Health to apply for this grant opportunity.
