Organics Infrastructure Fund closing 10 August 2017 (NSW)

Aims

The Waste Less, Recycle More Organics Infrastructure (Large and Small) Program provides $57 million over nine years to fund infrastructure and equipment to reduce food and garden organics waste going to landfill.

A separate application form and guideline has been developed for each grant stream, please check that you have the correct documents before completing your application.

Three funding streams

Stream 1: Food and Garden Organics Processing

Provides up to $3 million for new and enhanced infrastructure to process food, garden or combined food and garden organics from households and/or businesses.

Stream 3: Food Donation

Provides up to $500,000 for infrastructure to facilitate the collection and redistribution of edible food waste from businesses to people in need, such as fridges, freezers, refrigerated vans and storage equipment like forklifts.

Stream 4: Product Quality

Provides up to $500,000 for equipment to improve the quality of recycled organics products to support access to new markets.
