FRRR Innovation for Community Impact (I4CI) closing 23 June 2017 (NSW)
Innovation for Community Impact (I4CI)
Grants to support innovation and social impact
The Innovation for Community Impact program (I4CI) brings together the collective resources of the NSW government, the philanthropic sector and local community groups to address pressing and persistent social issues facing communities in ten regional NSW Local Government Areas across the Hunter New England, Mid-North and Central Coast districts.
The program aims to support innovative responses to issues including domestic and family violence, education disengagement, criminal behaviour, and unemployment.
The approach is underpinned by a belief in the power of the collective over individual or isolated action and by an aspiration for communities to lead the change they wish to see.
Any Incorporated organisation is eligible to apply for projects that meet the program guidelines and eligibility criteria. Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status is not required.
There is a strong preference for organisations operating in the target LGA’s that have a permanent presence and strong local connections and relationships. This is to support longer term sustainability and community ownership and engagement.
The program has clear target LGAs, priority outcomes and population groups. Please be sure to review these carefully before applying.
