The National Aged Care Advocacy Program provides free, independent, confidential advocacy support to older people (including their families or representatives) who are suffering frailty or disability and receiving or seeking to receive Commonwealth-funded aged care services.
The Department of Health is seeking applications from eligible organisations to deliver the National Aged Care Advocacy Program. The department will consider applications for a single national provider who can deliver all of the below listed advocacy services nationally. Alternatively, applications will also be considered for one provider in each state and territory who can deliver all of the below listed advocacy services across the entire jurisdiction for which they are applying to deliver services to.
Up to $25.7 million GST Exclusive is available from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2020.
