Applications for the General Fund 2017 Grants Program are now open.
The 2017 grant round will focus on organisations servicing vulnerable populations needing to adapt their business model to facilitate an improved and competitive service in the changing operating environment.
The QCF capacity building grants assist charities to develop their structures, systems, people and skills in order to deliver improved outcomes.
Typically, capacity building focuses on education and training; recruiting, maintaining or recognising volunteers; information technology support systems; training and planning; and governance, which may include strategic plans, constitution reviews or board appraisals.
Grants of up to $30,000 are offered to organisations providing a service to the economically disadvantaged, racial and ethnic minorities, youth, the elderly, the homeless, or those with chronic health conditions, including mental illness.
