The $297.7 million Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) supports the Australian Government’s commitment to create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities into the future.
The program will fund projects in regional Australia outside the major capital cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Canberra.
The Infrastructure Projects Stream provides funding for projects which involve the construction of new infrastructure, or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure that provide economic and social benefits to regional and remote areas. Applications for the Infrastructure Projects Stream open on 18 January 2017 and close on 28 February 2017.

Join their interactive and practical information sessions on the Building Better Regions Fund, to find out more about the grant funding available and how to apply.
As well as providing detailed guidance on the fund, these information sessions will also provide an opportunity to connect with other local people and organisations from regional, remote and very remote communities interested in harnessing the potential of Australia’s regions.
