The June Canavan Foundation ongoing applications assessed twice yearly (QLD)
The June Canavan Foundation was established in 2010 to honour the memory of Dr June Canavan. The Foundation will create a legacy which builds on June’s humanitarian work. It will provide financial and other support to existing projects in four areas close to June’s heart: Sport – Health – Education – Wildlife
The Foundation will support projects within Australia in the regions of the Sunshine Coast and North East Victoria. Occasionally it may be relevant to provide support to projects which have a nation-wide impact.
Internationally, the Foundation will support projects in the regions of East Africa, Papua New Guinea and the near Asia-Pacific.
You may submit a Grant Application at any time however, applications will only be considered twice at bi-annual Board meetings, usually held in March and September. The cut-off date for having your application considered at the March meeting is 1 February, and for consideration at the September meeting is 1 August.
